Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Teri Allen is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who brings a wealth of clinical expertise and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to Surgical Specialists of Ocala. With an extensive background in cardiology, nephrology, and primary care, Teri is known for her clinical precision and her ability to create individualized treatment plans that prioritize both efficacy and patient comfort.
Teri earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Keiser University in Ft. Lauderdale, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Her diverse clinical history has prepared her to manage complex patient needs with a high level of skill. Teri is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and holds advanced certifications in both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Patricia Hurst is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner earning her Master’s Degree at the University of South Alabama. She has worked with Dr. Chandra and the SSO team for more than 20 years. She sees patients in the office, hospitals and has extensive training assisting in the operating room. She earned a certificate of first assisting from the National Institute of First Assisting (NIFA) and became a Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) as a commitment to providing quality care for her patients during their surgical experience. Patty was raised in Ocala and takes great pride in serving her local community. She enjoys spending time with her family and antique shopping.
