TCAR

TCAR has been a procedure that has been in place for the last three to four years. It’s the most recent procedure that is now accepted universally for treating carotid artery disease. Initially the treament of carotid artery diseas was cartotid and our directory which means opening the artery under anesthesia, removing the plaque putting a patch on the artery and closing their neck. Now we are do not need to go through this big procedure. What we can do is we make a small incision in the collarbone and get into the artery with a needle and a wire.
