Carotid Artery Disease is usually diagnosed by symptoms first. Patients can present symptoms of a TIA, transient ischaemic attack, which means patients whose lost sense of consciouness or they can get dizzy. They can get loss of functions of the limbs, can have numbness. They can have some vision changes. All of these are symptoms of Carotid Artery Disease.
