Surgical Specialists of Ocala employs two full-time RVTs (certified vascular techs) and has obtained IAC accreditation for vascular testing.

The testing lab at Surgical Specialists of Ocala offers ultrasounds for both venous and arterial patient needs. We take measures to ensure accuracy in testing by having procedures performed by our full time RVTs (registered vascular technicians). This is one of the ways we take extra steps to provide thorough diagnostic procedures. We have also obtained accreditation for our testing facility from the Intersocietal Accreditation Committee. What does that mean? The IAC develops standards and methods for the evaluation of the quality of care delivered. The IAC also provides peer review processes for multiple imaging modalities within the medical community. Applying for and maintaining IAC accreditation is The Vein Center’s way of ensuring our patients we are transparently pursuing the highest level of excellence in providing care.
